The Instituto Mexicano de Medicina Estética y Antienvejecimiento
(Mexican Institute of Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine) is a school which is equipped with everything
necessary to teach the latest and most fascinating
medical specialty at the highest scientific level.

The institute was created by the Plastic, Reconstructive and Craniomaxillofacial Surgeon,
Colonel Abelardo Guzmán Peláez, upholding the fundamental idea of supporting
society as well as the medical community with scientific, up-to-date, attractive and highly profitable knowledge.
The institure was also created in response to the growing economic needs of every
family and to avoid the practice of non scientific alternative therapies. Therapies
that many have been compelled to utilize in order to satisfy economic needs.

Additionally, it is Dr. Guzman’s desire to benefit society
with very specialized techniques and procedures which are highly effective in the improvement
of the quality and expectancy of life; as well as to promote scientific medicine at the highest level to counteract
the negative influences of alternative therapies. |

Established in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco in the year 2000, the institute provides
the scientific medical community a site of easy access for the preparation in an extraordinary
new specialty. To date, eight generations of physicians have graduated as specialists in Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine.
They have also become members of the Colegio Mexicano de Medicina Estética y Antienvejecimiento (Mexican Academy of
Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Aging) which is currently composed by more than 200 members.
Some of them have learned Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine as a primary specialty while others have done it as a
complementary specialty of great profitability.
